Physical Education

“Champions aren't made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them - a desire, a dream, a vision”

Muhammad Ali

Welcome to Physical Education

Our aim is to ensure students are physically active, have the opportunity to compete and develop teamwork and leadership skills but to also develop the knowledge and understanding of the social and physical theories in sport. Throughout their time at Outwood Academy Ripon, students take part in team sports including rugby, football, netball and basketball as well as individual sports including badminton and athletics.
