Our aim is to ensure students are physically active, have the opportunity to compete and develop teamwork and leadership skills but to also develop the knowledge and understanding of the social and physical theories in sport. Throughout their time at Outwood Academy Ripon, students take part in team sports including rugby, football, netball and basketball as well as individual sports including badminton and athletics.
The PE course at Key Stage 3 provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge to access the Cambridge National Sports Studies course in Key Stage 4.
