Georgia graduated from the University of Exeter in 2015 with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics with Management. Through the Teach First Leadership Development Programme she completed six weeks teacher training and went straight into teaching in a large school in Cardiff. In 2017, after two years teaching maths, completing her PGCE on the job and starting her Masters qualification she relocated to North Yorkshire and started working at Outwood Academy Ripon. Following a year leading on Numeracy she was appointed as Associate Assistant Principal, with responsibilities for monitoring and tracking pupils eligible for the governments Pupil Premium grant. This ties in with her final research project for her Masters (Overcoming socio-economic disadvantage in education). She is from Cornwall but is enjoying living in North Yorkshire as there are lots of golf courses and farms to help her feel at home!
